Exclusive Cocktail Reception - 12/2/2010

AKDO hosted an exclusive cocktail reception for Architects and Interior Designers held at their award-winning showroom, where Connecticut Cottages & Gardens announced the call-to-entry for the 5th Annual Innovation in Design Awards.

There was a raffle to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The grand prize was 3 days/2 nights at the chic White Elephant hotel in Nantucket, winner of Travel + Leisure's 2010 World's Best Awards two years in a row. Dinner at Brant Point Grill, champagne breakfast, and a ferry ride to Nantucket.

ELLE Décor Showhouse - 11/21/2010

Recently, AKDO participated in the first ever ELLE Décor Showhouse, located in the historic St. Francis Wood section of San Francisco. The Showhouse was open from November 4th until November 21st and can now be seen virtually via a 360 degree tour.

The house features numerous rooms tiled exclusively with AKDO’s trendsetting products and will be featured in the March edition of ELLE Décor Magazine. Twelve nationally recognized designers were handpicked by ELLE Décor to design the rooms in the house.
