AKDO, (AKDO Intertrade Inc.), was founded in 1990 by Mr. Hakki Akbulak in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A manufacturer, importer, and distributor of natural stones from over twenty countries, AKDO stocks many varieties of marbles, granites, limestones, travertines, and slates at its distribution center in Bridgeport. Highlights of our products include a burgeoning line of handmade mosaics, relief decoratives, and custom-designed mosaic pieces.

Our stones are ideally suited for aesthetic-focused interiors, including residential, hospitality, and entertainment environs. Our audience includes a national community of retailers, architects, and interior designers.

Many of our stone items may be conveniently viewed in our 12,000 square foot showroom. All are stocked indoors in a 110,000 square foot warehouse that includes our entire range of mosaics and dimensional stone tiles, and, our collection of over 175 different colors of slab stones for counter top or wall décor
